The Tipp City Mum Festival has a variety of events planned to entertain the whole family. There is a motorcycle charity ride and a cruise-in featuring antique and show cars. On the main stage, Gem City Gymnastics, the Tipp City Community Band, and the Honey Creek Cloggers will perform. In addition, there will be a Little Miss and Mr. Mum pageant, as well as a diaper derby.
Run for the Mums
The 42nd Annual Run for the Mums is a great way to raise money for local charities and make a fun day of it. It takes place in City Park in Tipp City, Ohio, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The run is fast, flat, and features lots of prizes.
The event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by TIPP MONROE COMMUNITY SERVICES and TIPP CITY MUM FESTIVAL. The run is a 5K road race. The course starts at Tipp City Park and travels through the city’s neighborhoods. It concludes at the City Park, where the Mum Festival is held.
Antique and show car cruise-in
The annual mum festival in Tipp City, Ohio, will take place September 24 – 26. The event will feature an antique and show car cruise-in, the annual Run for the Mums, kids’ activities, and over 250 vendor booths. The mum festival is free to the public.
The antique and show car cruise-in is the highlight of the festival, kicking off the weekend of festivities. The cruise-in begins Friday at 4 p.m. and features a car show, food vendors, and music.
Run for the Mums 5K
Run for the Mums 5K is a local event that celebrates Mother’s Day with a 5K run or walk. This event raises money for the Tipp Monroe Community Services. The festival also features a parade. All ages are welcome! The fun starts on Friday, September 23rd at 4pm.
This 5K is sponsored by Tipp Monroe Community Services and Tipp City Mum Festival. Pre-registration is closed, but race-day registration is open from 6 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. The cost is $25 per person. Junior runners can join the fun by participating in the Junior Run for the Mums. The Tipp City Mum Festival also includes a parade that starts at the Hyatt Center, travels through downtown Tipp City, and finishes at the city park.
Motorcycle charity ride
The Tipp City Mum Festival motorcycle charity ride is free and open to the public. This fun ride will raise funds for the Mums Needy Basket. On the Sunday of the festival, proceeds will be presented to the Mums in need. Also, the ride will feature a Queens Pageant, with prizes for the winner.
The ride will feature hundreds of classic and muscle cars, as well as sportsters, from a vintage Harley to a modern motorcycle. There will also be food trucks, sidewalk vendors, and sit down restaurants.
